What is TexSCAN?

The Texas Statewide Classified Advertising Network is made up of 303 newspapers across the state of Texas. These newspapers have come together with Texas Press Association to help bring advertisers a simple, inexpensive opportunity to reach over 1 million of readers with just one ad placement.

What types of newspapers will my ad be in?

Approximately 90 percent of newspapers participating in TexSCAN are weekly newspapers, covering areas from El Paso to Houston, from Dallas to Brownsville and everywhere in between.

What are the TexSCAN Regions?

For the purposes of TexSCAN, we have broken Texas into three regions to target the advertisers' audience directly. The North Region includes areas such as Waco, Dallas, and east to Carthage and Longview. TexSCAN South Region includes Austin, Houston, Corpus Christi and Beaumont. The West Region covers the entire Panhandle, El Paso, San Antonio, Abilene and Wichita Falls.
